🎤 This week, the Brisbane Convention & Exhibition Centre played host to Australian Manufacturing Week, where John Guy and Rory Guy had the opportunity to sit on the Commonwealth Bank panel discussing Manufacturing in a Changing Operating Environment.

From rollforming the steel, pushing the foam, cutting and laminating the sheets, right through to packing and preparation for delivery, every stage required precision, teamwork and experience to get it right.

Producing panels of this scale presents challenges across the entire manufacturing process, but our team absolutely nailed it. 👏

Choosing the right panel thickness isn’t just about insulation, it’s about structure, performance, and longevity.

Panel thickness is primarily determined by the distance between supports (span), whether that’s from an existing structure to a beam, or between beams.

Other key factors include:
• Wind ratings
• Whether the structure is open or enclosed
• Thermal (R-value) requirements
• Acoustic performance

Delta Panels supplies insulated panels from 50mm through to 250mm, each designed for different applications and spanning capabilities.
