🧡 Today is Wear Orange Wednesday (WOW Day) 🧡

As part of National Volunteer Week, today we’re proudly wearing orange to recognise and thank the incredible State Emergency Services (SES) volunteers who help keep communities like ours safe.

From storms and floods to rescues and emergencies, SES volunteers give up their own time to help others during some of the hardest moments people face, often in terrible weather, late at night, and without hesitation. WOW Day is Australia’s national day of thanks for these everyday heroes in orange. 🧡🧡🧡

To all SES volunteers in Dayboro, Dayboro surrounds and nationwide, thank you for the hours you give, the jobs you leave, the sleep you lose, and the calm you bring when people need it most. 🧡

And during National Volunteer Week, we also want to acknowledge all volunteers who quietly give their time to make communities stronger, kinder, and more connected. You matter more than you know.
