Our goal is a simple one: to give Dunsborough and the surrounding community a premium building supplies destination - somewhere easy to get to, safe to move around, and stocked with what you actually need.

Achieving that vision meant bringing together the two businesses that today make up M&B Trade Centre Mitre 10 Dunsborough. We've invested heavily in improving the site - upgraded buildings, warehousing, shelving and racking, resurfacing and better traffic flow. We're genuinely proud of what we've built here, and just as proud of the local team looking after you.

From 1 September 2026, Dunsborough Rural will operate together with Dunsborough Building Supplies under one M&B Trade Centre Mitre 10 banner.

The good news is that much of what has made Dunsborough Rural such a special place isn't changing. You'll still find gas, dog food, gardening products and fertilisers, gates, fencing, edging, workwear and firewood - and you'll find them alongside a much deeper building products range, with everything in the one place and the same familiar faces to help you.

There's no need to change how you shop with us in the meantime. Throughout July and August the familiar Dunsborough Rural counter stays open, before everything comes together at the Dunsborough Building Supplies counter from 1 September - so you'll always have somewhere to be served while we make the change.

We'll also be clearing discontinued and excess stock in the lead-up, which means genuine bargains and giveaways across the store. So pop in, have a good look around, and grab yourself a bargain while they last.

Most importantly - thank you to our loyal Dunsborough Rural customers. Your support over the years has meant a great deal to us. We have something special in the pipeline for the site, and look forward to sharing this next chapter in our story with you. We're proud of our history, excited about our future, and here to serve the Dunsborough community for many years to come.

Dunsborough - M&B Trade Centre Mitre 10 today announced that Dunsborough Rural will come together with its Dunsborough Building Supplies operation, trading under a single banner from 1 September 2026, in time for the first day of Spring.

M&B's intention is to provide a premium building supplies offering to the Dunsborough and surrounding community - a site that is accessible, safe, and stocks a comprehensive range of building products, delivered with the professional service M&B Trade Centre Mitre 10 customers have come to expect.

Achieving that vision required bringing together the two businesses that today make up M&B Trade Centre Dunsborough. Over the past two years, the business has invested significantly in upgraded buildings, warehousing, shelving and racking, resurfacing and improved traffic management. The result is a safer, more efficient destination for both trade and retail customers - served by the same local team customers already know.

Dunsborough Rural was acquired in September 2024. While the business will now operate under the M&B Trade Centre Mitre 10 banner, much of what has made Dunsborough Rural a special place will remain. Customers will continue to find gas, dog food, gardening products and fertilisers, gates, fencing, edging, workwear and firewood, alongside a significantly deeper building products range - including insulation, decking, cladding and doors - all in one location.

To ensure a seamless transition, the existing Dunsborough Rural retail counter will continue to operate throughout July and August before customer service is brought together at the Dunsborough Building Supplies retail counter from 1 September.

Ahead of the transition, the business will be clearing discontinued and excess stock, with genuine clearance specials and giveaways in-store over the coming weeks. Customers are encouraged to call in early while the range is at its best, and to see the upgraded site for themselves.
