The MLAA has designed a swing tag warning label for use by Business Members on unpackaged car key fobs and remotes containing button batteries, in accordance with the Australian Government’s new button battery standards.

If you are providing consumers with unpackaged car key fobs or remotes which contain button batteries, you must attach a warning label that complies with the standards. The Association has designed the new warning label to help members, particularly automotive locksmiths, comply with the new rules and avoid penalties.
