Had the opportunity to reproduce Merbau columns to match a concrete original one. The concrete version was 100x100mm square while the Merbau columns were 90x90mm. There isn’t enough curved profile in the centre bulge due to the difference in column diameters but kept all the narrow diameters the same. They would have been a perfect match if we used same size blanks. I can only do what I have to work with. The concrete ones are all being replaced.
