People often ask us “why do you pull the engine out?”
The short answer is that we have trust issue, and by trust issues we mean that we can’t just trust that the internals are up to the task they are about to be asked to perform.
This is a clear example of why we pull them out. This motor came in for a “simple” oil pump upgrade and all the other usual Barra stuff however once we pulled the sump off it became very obvious this engine needed some serious attention with all of the bearings failing and one on the verge of spinning. Thankfully we have caught it in time and the crank hasn’t sustained any unrecoverable damage. Feeew
The good news is now we can move forward and build this into something that can be trusted 💪🏻😎.
