A safety issue has been identified with Makita DGP180ZBK 18V Grease Gun + 1200mm & 600mm flexible hose accessories purchased between 25 February 2021 - 30 April 2025. product that may cause serious injury.

If you own one, please:
1. STOP using it immediately
2. Remove the battery from the gun and any grease from the barrel
3. Return it to Makita for a free repair by completing the form at Makita.com.au/DGP180ZBKrecall or call 1300 361 690 (Mon-Fri, 8am-5pm AEST) or drop it in to us at 5 Claude Street.

Why the product is recalled: A small hole can appear in the hose which may cause it to burst and eject grease under pressure.
Hazard: Risk of serious injuries including lacerations if the hose bursts during use. Incidents causing injury have occurred.

If you've already had your DGP180ZBK grease gun, 1200mm &/or 600mm flexible hose accessories repaired under this recall (any time between March 2025 and now) — thank you. No further action is needed and you can disregard this notice.
