⏳ Start Date: Immediate
📆 Hours: Monday–Friday + Saturday
We are looking for a reliable, hardworking team player to join The Metal Warehouse! This role is a mix of customer service, sales, and warehouse work (Heavy Lifting), so you’ll need to be comfortable handling customers and getting hands-on with orders.
About the Role:
You’ll be helping & Assisting customers with their orders, answering calls & handling sales, and stock replenishment—picking, packing, and preparing orders for dispatch. Heavy lifting is involved, so you’ll need to be physically fit and comfortable with hands-on work.
Skills & Experience:
Customer Service & Sales:
✅ Excellent communication and people skills
✅ Confidence in handling sales, taking orders, and offering product advice
✅ Ability to work well under pressure in a fast-paced environment
✅ Good phone manner and professional attitude
Warehouse & Order Fulfillment:
✅ Experience in picking, packing, and preparing orders for dispatch
✅ Basic stock management skills (checking inventory, restocking)
✅ Comfortable handling and moving materials (heavy lifting involved)
✅ Forklift license is not mandatory but would be a bonus
What We’re Looking For:
✅ Punctual & Reliable – We need someone we can count on
✅ Polite & Approachable – A friendly attitude goes a long way
✅ Respectful & Presentable – Professional attitude and appearance
✅ Physically Fit – Able to lift and move materials safely
✅ Hands-On & Hardworking – Not afraid of getting a bit dirty
✅ Fluent in English – Strong spoken and written communication
✅ Full-Time Work Rights in Australia – Must be legally allowed to work full-time
✅ Tax File Number (TFN) Required – For payroll purposes
