Evitat

Evitat Evitat is a multi-channel platform solution, helping renovators make homes sustainable for a liveable, regenerative future.

Evitat is an AI-led materials intelligence platform that simplifies sourcing and specification of sustainable building products for design and construction professionals. Our mission is to deliver sustainable solutions with the best renovation experience for the conscious homeowner. The core intelligence of the Evitat platform is a logbook that helps renovators easily capture the performance and b

enefits of sustainable home improvements and define renovation goals based on six core categories: health, comfort, efficiency, affordability, environmental- social and carbon impact. We are facilitators between the renovator and conscious manufacturers, suppliers and professionals that share the same values and visions. Evitat is transforming the complex, time-consuming process of making sustainable renovations simple and clever. Join us to keep you updated on our journey!

Last night, our Co-founder Sonja Markovic had the privilege of delivering a keynote at the 2026 MSB Showcase Night hosted by Monash Sustainable Buildings, and we all left genuinely inspired by this next generation of architects, engineers and designers.

Climate change is fundamentally reshaping what it means to design and build. The students at MSB are already designing from that reality.

Evitat had the opportunity to work alongside the students’ Design Challenge and the Yirrkoo Rise project, a resilient, elevated coastal home for Saibai Island in the Torres Strait, developed in partnership with Engineers Without Borders. Saibai sits just 1.7 metres above sea level. Rising seas, king tides, storm surge, not future threats, but today’s conditions. The team drew on traditional Papua New Guinean housing principles, modern building methods and purposefully selected materials to incorporate costs, people’s traditional connections to building design, environmental footprint, energy and climate resilience.

Working alongside the Design Challenge cohort was a fantastic way to capture the range of criteria they weigh, and the weight they give to the brief as an opportunity, not just a constraint.
This fed directly into what is next at Evitat AI 3.0 — agentic data infrastructure that automates and supports project and material assessments across emissions, health, circularity and resilience. In human language.
The conversations last night, about design complexity, technology, AI, and data democratisation, are exactly what Evitat stands for: giving every team the ability to bring decisions upstream. To ask the hard questions early, before they’re locked in.

The quality of thinking in that room last night was genuinely humbling. These are the architects, designers and engineers who will shape how we build future-ready. We are proud to deepen our relationship with Monash Sustainable Buildings and look forward to continuing this work together.

Spotlight on .

Specifying furniture that needs to meet design intent, durability and verified sustainability criteria?

Cult Design brings together furniture, lighting and objects from a range of established international and Australian brands — with a focus on pieces that are made to last and hold their place over time.
Their collection spans everyday objects through to more defined statement pieces, all grounded in material quality and considered design.
For projects where longevity and design intent matter just as much as the outcome.

We recently received this feedback from Jeremy Spencer, . It perfectly sums up why material decisions matter and how accessible they are presented.

“With construction being responsible for ~50% of global resource use, informed product selection is critical for sustainable healthy outcomes in the built environment. What we choose to build with affects embodied carbon levels, natural habitat impacts, end of life circularity potential, and occupant health. By bringing product metrics to the fingertips of designers, builders and specifiers, Evitat has made a platform that makes creating sustainable material specification quick and easy.”

Renovating is a bit like dating.
The difference is… I’d renovate again. ;)

Everything sounds great at the start.
Lots of promises.
Very polished presentations.

And then…
you realise no one has actually told you
what anything is made of.

That’s where Evitat comes in.

It’s basically a database of building materials that have been vetted,
with actual data behind them.
Not just “eco-friendly” slapped on a label.

You can check things like:

• VOC levels (aka what you’re breathing in)
• recycled content
• carbon impact
• certifications like EPDs and Global GreenTag
• whether something is recyclable or circular

Which matters because most of your house…
you never see again once it’s built.

Insulation.
Substrates.
Adhesives.
Sealants.

All quietly existing.
Possibly… off-gassing.

I’m not saying you need to control every decision.

But asking one question like:
“Can we check this on Evitat?”

…is a very low-effort way to avoid accidentally
building a very expensive chemistry experiment

Excited to welcome Mineral Paints to Evitat.

If you’ve ever specified a finish and wondered what’s actually in it, or how it performs ten, twenty, fifty years from now, KEIM is the kind of product that answers those questions clearly.

Mineral paints have a fundamentally different story to acrylics. Where acrylic paints are polymer-based (essentially liquid plastic), KEIM’s silicate formula bonds strongly with the substrate rather than forming a surface film. That means no peeling, no microplastic shedding, and no off-gassing over time. Studies have shown acrylic paints can release VOCs not just during application but for months afterward, a real consideration for occupied spaces and indoor air quality ratings under Green Star and WELL.

The environmental contrast is significant too. Acrylic binders are petrochemical-derived, and at end of life they don’t biodegrade, they fragment. KEIM is Cradle to Cradle certified, meaning its ingredients have been independently assessed, particular for their environmental impact.

We’re looking forward to unpacking more on KEIM Paints, the science, the certifications, and what it actually means for the projects you’re specifying.

Opening our mailbox to find this special note from Francesco Adami, Director at is a wonderful reminder of why we started Evitat.

We built Evitat to remove the complexity surrounding product and material data and to act as the sustainability co-pilot for design professionals, bringing decision making upstream, cutting time and costs and providing better-informed decisions with greater confidence.
Thank you, Francesco, we’ll be sharing more soon about the fantastic work is doing in this space.

Designers on Evitat can already:
• Discover verified low-carbon materials with structured sustainability data

• Build collaborative specification boards across projects

• Access performance and certification data that supports compliance and sustainability outcomes

• Use Evitat as a sustainability co-pilot throughout material selection and specification

• Surface emissions insights, circularity transparency, and project-level building intelligence directly within their workflow

Evitat already brings emissions insights, circularity transparency, and project-level building intelligence directly into the design workflow, making sustainable specification easier, clearer, and more actionable for the professionals shaping the built environment.
