Hoping everyone has had a happy new year.
Already getting some jobs through the door, but started the year off with a cleanup and then installing insulation on the roof. MUCH more comfortable to work now.
Looking forward to all the new jobs this year!

This was a bit of a longer job than the usual. But its a beautiful transformation from a dirty guitar with REALLY worn down frets, so something that is enjoyable and easy to play.

Here is a sneak preview of an upcoming project that I will be working on.
I have never in my life seen frets this worn down.... on a nylon string guitar no less!!

Japanese Teisco guitar from the 60's. Another fun project to work on. But more importantly, it is now gig ready for the modern player.

Ever wonder how acoustic Guitars are intonated? Here's a glimpse at what it looks like when making a bone saddle for a Maton. I will use a B or G-string (yeah yeah Ha-Ha) as a take off point and mark out where each string intonates the most accurately. From There the saddle can be filed and shaped accordingly.
