A quick check in and thank you to all of my returning and new customers for the beginning of 2026.

It's been busy, and with some challenging jobs it's pushed me to solve problems and expand the solutions I can draw from. It has been thoroughly enjoyable working with all my suppliers and clients.

As we head towards the middle of the year I will be taking a step back over the coming months to get some work done at home. I'll be around to complete booked jobs and any emergency work, but my focus is on kicking project goals at home and being refreshed to kick off again in a couple of months.

You are all the best!

Busy busy!

Great jobs for great people makes it all worthwhile.

Thanks to my wonderful clients and their word of mouth, I am almost scheduled out till Christmas!

I'll still be quoting and fitting in what I can and working towards the new year, however no guarantee installation can be completed before Christmas 2024.

You're all the best.

It's been a busy few months leading into Winter, but as things slow down a little bit, I had a couple of opportunities to work on jobs that hold some historical significance.

These chances don't come along often. One builing was 144 years old! I lost sleep over them as I felt a personal responsibility to complete the work to a standard that respected the people and construction that was conceived such a long time ago. And there was also a chance that despite what I saw as the finished product, modern materials just didn't gel with history. I'm stoked with the result and I hope the building is to.

As things get quieter I'm going to take a bit of time out to recharge and spend sometime with family and friends before Spring turns up again and I need to hit the ground running.

I'm still around, so let me know where I can help you.

One of the most important parts of a quote and then the final product, is consulting with the client on what the use case is.

Example 1: French doors leading to unventilated converted garage/rumpus. Raised pet flap in keeper door and adjacent laundry door. Client needs ventilation during the day and at night give access to the pet flap and didn't want to block the laundry door with another hinged screen door. The solution is sliding doors that can pass each other.

Example 2: Wide opening casement windows. Customer uses these like a servery. Internal hinged screens are not an option as they couldn't open due to the tap ware and to pass things out it a hinged screen would need to be wide open and in turn you couldn't have anything on the bench. The solution here is double hung screens.
