🌾 SA farmers are heading into seeding under enormous pressure 🌾
While recent rains across parts of the state are welcome, they also signal the start of another demanding season — with rising costs, fuel and fertiliser uncertainties weighing heavily on many.
In response, psychologist and farmer Steph Schmidt has launched “What the F? — Practical Strategies for the Season We’re In” — a four-session online series designed specifically for SA primary producers and those who support them.
Funded through the South Australian Government’s $117M Drought Support package, this initiative is about real, practical support — not therapy sessions, but tools you can actually use.
🧠 Sessions will cover:
• You — supporting your own wellbeing
• Relationships — navigating pressure at home and work
• Business — making decisions in tough conditions
• Supporting Others — strengthening community around you
📅 Running 15 April – 8 May
✔️ Fridays 10–11am
✔️ Wednesdays 7:30–8:30pm
💛 Pay what you can:
$0, $15 per session or $50 for the full series
Open to farmers, advisors, agronomists, service providers and anyone connected to agriculture.
If this season is already feeling heavy — this is a great opportunity to access practical support and strategies.
