The Role: Based on the Gold Coast (Nerang), and founded in 1978, Australian Timber and Trusses have provided timber products for tens of thousands of successful housing projects in New South Wales and Queensland.

Our IT Infrastructure includes advanced computer-controlled factory equipment from Hundegger, Mitek & Rockwell automation. Our Server environment is built on VMware, ESXi, Windows Server 2019, Veeam Backups, & Palo Alto Firewalls for security. Our desktop SOE is currently Windows 10 with Office 365 business premium and we have enabled our office staff to RDP from home as required during Covid restrictions. Previous experience on these platforms is a must.
You will utilise your outstanding customer service skills, provide a high level of knowledge, support and advice to all desktop and network ICT users across the organisation and demonstrate teamwork and professionalism with the internal IT department and external IT resources alike.
You will support the maintenance, updating and implementation of IT equipment, hardware & software. To ensure an environment of continuous improvement, you will actively contribute to, develop, implement, and refine IT policies and procedures.

• Microsoft Windows Server administration experience
• Microsoft Active Directory and Group Policy administration experience
• Security administration experience
• Patching & updates implementation experience
• VMware & ESXi administration experience
• Office 365 administration experience
• Windows desktop support & administration experience
• Veeam backup administration experience
• Printer administration experience
• General IT support, problem solving & customer management experience
Highly Desirable Skills & Experience
• ProgrammingLogic Controllers (PLC), Rockwell automation
• Microsoft Excel - Data analysis & report generation
• LOB – Experience with Line of Business applications
• Mitek Software
