Piccolo House | 385 Gore St, Fitzroy
An award-winning project designed to feel completely at home within the rich architectural character of fitzroy.
The façade features german-made waterstruck bricks fired in a traditional hoffmann kiln, creating the natural colour variation, texture and irregularity associated with older handmade brickwork.
The brick was selected to reference the established warehouses, terraces and historic masonry of the surrounding neighbourhood, giving this contemporary building a sense of permanence and connection to place.
Recently awarded national development of the year – medium-density residential (40+) at the Urban Developer awards for industry excellence 2026.
