We’ve just commissioned our new x4 cavity Keystone mould, and it’s already proving to be a major step change in output.

- 35-second cycle time
- 4 parts per cycle
- +400 units per hour on a single machine

This upgrade means a significant lift in throughput and a major efficiency gain compared to previous moulds. It allows us to service current demand while building the headroom required for further market growth and demand.

For context: running at these speeds, a single machine can now deliver millions of units annually, giving us the scale to support concreters, builders, and engineers right across the country .

This investment in automation and tooling is more than capacity, it’s about building the infrastructure to accelerate adoption and ensures sustainable, cost-competitive foundations become the industry standard.

Our latest 215 pod mould is now online, producing 110 units per hour in our purpose built Biax facility.

With three 215 moulds across the eastern seaboard, Biax Foundations now has the scale to support projects in all states.

Why it matters:

- Efficiency: faster formwork, predictable and consistent supply, reduces space on site, not affected by wind and weather

- Commercial Edge: lighter, easier, lower cost with an increase in concrete yield

- Sustainability: recycled plastic, no polystyrene foam, EPD to qualify our carbon footprint reduction to meet ESG objectives

- Installation: quick, clean, simple for concreters with no cutting required and no waste to landfill
