What started as an idea, a shed, a lot of long days, setbacks, mistakes, problem-solving and sheer determination has now become something we’re incredibly proud of.
Outback Fencing & Steel Supplies is officially licensed to carry the Australian Made logo on our Hinge Joint Mesh and Fixed Knot Fencing.
For us, this is more than a logo.
It represents the belief that Australian manufacturing still matters.
That we can still make things here.
That regional Australian businesses can still build, innovate, compete and create products made for the people who actually use them.
We didn’t start Outback because it was easy.
We started because we believed farmers, fencing contractors and rural Australians deserved more choice and because we wanted to prove that a growing Australian company could stand up, invest in manufacturing and take on an industry dominated by the same big names for decades.
There have been plenty of moments where it would have been easier to give up.
We didn’t.
We kept improving the machinery.
We kept improving the product.
We kept listening to customers.
We kept investing.
And we kept believing in what we were building.
Today, seeing the Australian Made logo beside the Outback name feels like a massive step forward.
It’s the beginning of something much bigger.
Our goal is to keep growing Australian manufacturing, keep creating better fencing products, create more opportunities here at home, and build an Australian fencing company that can compete with anyone.
