‘But what about ‘Under-Mounting’ Tom?’

Sure thing, gimme a sec to muck around with some gear…

Yep, turns out it works…*

*with a few notes:

- Drops the Dump Pouch ~65mm lower than ‘direct to belt’.

- Needs x2 Talon Pouches - Belt Mounted - to attach DP.

- Does fit under x3 Talon Pouches, but flattens DP mouth.

- Talon Pouches dip ~65mm into the DP - tall mags clash.

- 15 Dart Straight Talons DO fit under the Talon Pouches.

- Only feasible to mount DP under Single Talon Pouches.

- Double Talon Pouches mount same, but crowd insertion.

- Can still ‘roll and bungee tie’ DP, but sits a little bulkier.

- Bungee pulls out from between the Talon Pouches.

Size…

Roughly 280 x 150 x 75 mm (HWD), approx. 150g empty.

Designed to stop mags from tilting near horizontal and blocking further mags being securely inserted.

Webbing reinforced mouth to help hold shape and keep open.

Mounting panel made from double layer webbing to act as a ‘support frame’ to keep the pouch mouth stable.

Only 75mm depth off the belt/mounting - stays close to the body.

3D boxed pouch base - stops all items from clashing in an otherwise flat sewn pouch style - easier to insert items and not have them ‘stack’.

Little need for any ‘cinch’ as the mags stay close to vertical, with full insertion - hard to bounce out.

Mounting is direct to platform - 3 PALS grid columns sewn in a single PALS row - comes with x2 reusable (removable) double sided hook/loop tapes - mounts and indexes well to a MazoFactory Gear Belt, but can also be mounted to PALS/MOLLE Grid (can use TacTie or MALICE style mounting also).

Elastic bungee can be used to secure the pouch when ‘rolled up’, and can also be pulled around the pouch body when deployed, to act as an adjustable ‘Cinch’ to improve retention for smaller looser items like game objectives, loose darts, Silly Shells etc.

Playing with combinations…

Can make these with the Mouth Reinforcement Webbing sewn internally between the Shell/Lining fabrics with very little performance difference.

Which means various looks can be achieved.

Will likely list options in line with current ‘Sport | Versus | Harry Hardcore | Customised Colourways ’ schema.

Sport option will be basic colours with External webbing - like this Purple example (not decided if Sport will have fabric colours other than Black yet?!)

Versus option will be brighter premium colours and patterns with Internal webbing - like this Splatter | Pink example.

Harry Hardcore will be Tacticool / Camo colours and patterns with Internal webbing. (No example shown)

Customised Colourways will be buyer devised from available options of fabric / colours, and can be Internal or External webbing - like this Miami TS | Aqua example.

I expect to have a similarly tiered pricing, Sport being slightly cheaper than Versus/Harry Hardcore, and a Customised Colourways being slightly more expensive.

As per existing products, the price difference reflects changes in production time/method/complexity, premium material inputs, admin and production time as per each tier available…

Super keen for feedback on these options and ideas.

Back onto Dump Pouch development…

Are people keen on one?

Have had x5 prototype samples on for field testing for a few months.

Need to make a few final assembly tweaks for production, and make some decisions about colours and topology and finalise pricing.

Thinking I might drop a small quantity as a launch offering soon - what colourways are people hot on right now?
