We’ve got a big run of gates with leaves in excess of 6m each coming up.

It’s quite interesting when you look at the progression of scale on a post for a gate. Many rules of thumb applying along the way from a humble pool gate, through to some of our 15m+ monsters.

Some of the rules we and other fencers know loosely in our game. 1/3 the height in the ground, double the frame for the post size, quadruple the weight for the hinge, set it on the line for sag.. all of which have a place for a fence or gate company.

I wouldn’t have ever imagined we’d end up with 10mm thick 250’s on 20mm plate on 2m3 pad footings sitting on 4t hinges.

A lot of fencing and gates down there, as much inside as out! Too many to count or even try to. The Moorebank distribution centre is on a scale that only comes with being the biggest in the industry. What we can say, is this job was a great one. Great client, great teams all round, great responses to challenges and great to know we are continuing on in the buildings underway in the background and the rest of the far paddock.

Welcome to PONDI. We’ve helped with the grand re opening of Penrith Beach, knocking in over 2.5km of 6 wire rural this week in beautiful Castlereagh.

It’s no secrect we love all things Western Sydney, so we were more than happy to jump on this quick little rural job in our backyard.

Big proud moment for us, with the great effort from our Project Manager Blake sorting this last minute flick pass while dealing with the rest of Xmas rush.
