Some people own art. Some negotiate with it for more wall space.
Vikki spent many years living and working in Aboriginal communities, and she has built a collection of aboriginal art - each piece sings different memories to her.
Her problem was never a lack of stunning art - it was how to keep display them all without turning her walls into Swiss cheese.
In this photo, she’s created a salon-style hang so she can display multiple works together and still rotate them whenever the mood strikes, the light changes, or one painting starts singing louder.
He picture rails let her display lots of art together without committing her walls to a lifetime of patching, sanding and regret.
You can even spot another painting on the right still waiting in the wings. This wall is not finished. It’s merely between curatorial decisions.
