🌱 From paddock to product — the power of Australian h**p

At Wandarra, we’re proud to see Australian-grown industrial h**p being transformed into next-generation materials through HulkBuild.

HB HulkBoards are manufactured in Townsville using h**p fibre grown and harvested in just a few months. This rapidly renewable crop naturally captures carbon during its growth cycle and can be engineered into strong, durable composite boards used in furniture, cabinetry and construction.

By replacing traditional wood fibres with regeneratively grown h**p, products like HulkBoards help reduce reliance on timber resources while supporting new bio-based manufacturing industries here in Australia.

All HulkBuild products carry the Australian Made Campaign certification, reinforcing the commitment to keeping manufacturing, agriculture and innovation local.

Great to be part of the conversation at the MITEZ 2026 Priorities, Advocacy & Activation Forum.

Wandarra was proud to support the event and join industry leaders from across the MITEZ Corridor to share insights, strengthen connections, and discuss the opportunities shaping the future of North Queensland.

Collaboration across mining, manufacturing, logistics, infrastructure and emerging industries is critical to driving sustainable regional growth. Forums like this play an important role in keeping industry aligned, informed and focused on delivering outcomes for the region.

Sustainability never sounded so good. 🎸🌿

This custom electric guitar, crafted from HB HulkBoards made with Australian-grown h**p, highlights the versatility of h**p-based materials beyond traditional construction. Inspired by the classic strat-style shape, the natural h**p tones paired with a black neck and pickguard create a striking blend of design, performance, and sustainability.

It’s a small but powerful example of what’s possible through Wandarra’s SMARTS manufacturing approach — transforming renewable resources into high-performance materials that support Australian industry and a more circular economy.

From buildings to instruments, h**p continues to prove that better materials can create better outcomes.

Great to see HulkBuild materials finding their way into premium hospitality spaces.

This beautiful tabletop at Terasu, Ardo Hotel Townsville was manufactured using HulkBoard, produced locally in Townsville from Australian-grown h**p fibre.

It’s a great example of SMARTS™ in action — Sustainable Materials and Regenerative Transformation Systems — where regenerative feedstocks are turned into high-performance materials suitable for real-world commercial applications.
