Good site investigation doesn’t end when the data is collected it ends when the borehole is sealed properly.

Unlike bentonite chips, Bentonite pellets are coated and compressed into dense uniform shapes that hydrate more slowly (“time release”), allowing them to travel deeper into the annulus before swelling and sealing. This helps create a more consistent and reliable seal exactly where it’s needed.

Why does that matter?

âś” Better placement at depth
âś” Controlled swelling and sealing
âś” Helps prevent water migration between soil layers

Bentonite chips hydrate faster and are great for general sealing, while pellets are often preferred when a slower, more controlled seal is important.
