Two fireplaces I recently finished for a client in Albury. Both were finished in MacRender Vernazza for a more natural looking finish. The bigger outside one was done with a stamp look and scratched to give it a natural stone look, the colour was Cappuccino. The smaller indoor one was done smooth with the client wanting to see lines in it, colour was Latte.

Complete process for this one was started off by painting on ProPrime day 1.
Day 2 was fibreglass mesh and HBS.
Day 3 was a coat of MacPatch Coarse
Day 4 was two coats of Vernazza
Day 5 was a coat of Glaze low Gloss sealer.

Another small job finished today. Bit of work involved in making this one look decent. Had to pressure wash the fence with the jet nozzle to remove all of the loose render and old paint first. Then glued external angles on and filled holes with MacRender Polylite. Base coat was MacRender CoarseFR and finish coat was sponge finished MacRender Medium.

Wall done for the local football club . Texture coat was Crystal Plus Med in plain white. After the base coat was completed I painted MacRender Primer coat which gave us way more time to work with the final coat. Thanks to T & T’s Rendering for giving me a hand to do the texture coat.

This week I was out visiting job sites in the region and caught up with the local bricklayers. I built myself a pop-up display board over the weekend to help showcase the tools onsite. I ended up selling a bunch of saw blades which were very popular. Also sold quite a few trowels as well. All in all it was a successful few days out and about. Keen to make this a more common occurrence going forward and also target a few other trades too 💪.
