What a first week it’s been! We’ve loved meeting so many of you and hearing your feedback and ideas.
As we restock, reorganise and give the store a fresh new look, we’d love for you to pop in, say hello and let us know what you’d like to see in your local hardware store.

A huge THANK YOU for your patience and support as we settle in. We’re excited to become part of the Woodford community and restore this store to its former glory!

The End Of An Era For Us

After 26 years, we have made the incredibly difficult decision to sell Woodford Hardware.

We have genuinely enjoyed our time running the business, through the lows & highs. Most importantly, the people we have had the privilege of meeting throughout our community over the years. Woodford Hardware has been a huge part of our family’s lives, and we are incredibly grateful for the support we have had along the way.

Izaak & Nick Duggan, local Mooloolah Valley family, have purchased the store. While it is a bittersweet decision, we feel completely at peace knowing that they will continue the business with the same dedication, community-minded spirit & values that we built it on.

We are happy to say that the same friendly and familiar staff will continue on.

To accommodate this exciting transition, the store will be CLOSED from Monday 17th August to Sunday 23rd August. We kindly ask for your patience during this time as we prepare for the changeover. The new owners will welcome you back on Monday 24th August from 8:00am!

We would like to sincerely thank every customer, staff member, supplier, friend and member of our community who has supported us throughout the past 26 years. We truly couldn’t have done it without you, so thank you 🙏🏼
