Who we are...
Wundowie Produce & Hardware is owned by a local Wundowie family. The Manager Peter Broad (Broadie) has a wide range of experience giving him the tools to provide you with sound advice on a wide range of farming, mechanical and home maintenance requirements.
Peter originally comes from an old Morawa farming family learning cropping and sheep husbandry from a young age. Later he worked for Elders for more than 20 years in the Goldfields and Murchison regions. Has been a mining contractor and managed several hardware stores.
Peter lives with his partner Felicity and her daughter Madeleine. Felicity works in Northam for Wheatbelt Natural Resource Management where she works with farmers to encourage sustainable agriculture practice. Felicity’s private passion is breeding Trakehner sporthorses, primarily for eventing. Blackmores Park Trakehner Sporthorse Stud is currently being relocated from Victoria to Wundowie. She has bred a number of highly successful eventers including BMS Alexeah currently competing at 2 star level.
