We’ve recently updated the packaging across our Hygain feed range, and we understand it has prompted questions.
As horse owners ourselves, we know how important it is to feel confident in what you’re feeding. Transparency, consistency and trust matter, and they underpin everything we do at Hygain.
We operate in a highly competitive space, and protecting our formulations allows us to continue investing in research, innovation and delivering consistent results you can rely on. As part of this update, ingredients are now presented under broader, standardised categories across our packaging and website.
To reassure you, all of our feeds remain set formulations. There has been no change to the ingredients themselves, and we are not substituting lower quality inputs for cost savings.
Any new products, product updates, raw material suppliers and any other changes, no matter how minor, are authorised only after our nutrition and quality teams review, with the CEO having final authorisation.
Over time, some of our previous packaging no longer fully reflected minor formulation refinements. Any updates were always maintained on our website and none of these changes were recent. This packaging refresh has allowed us to align all information so it is now consistent across both bags and online. We have also included a full nutritional analysis to ensure clear visibility of what each feed delivers.
