Why are some metals more likely to corrode?

When two different metals are in direct contact, the more active metal will corrode first and protect the less active metal. This galvanic phenomenon happens in most security screens.

This is not the case for Invisi-Gard Security Screens for two main reasons:

- The mesh is made of 316 Marine Grade Stainless Steel, which is corrosion resistant due to the naturally occurring chromium-rich oxide film formed on the surface.
- The patented EGP Pressure Retention Method used to isolate the 316 Marine Grade Stainless Steel Mesh from the heavy-duty Aluminium Frame. This method does not rely on screws or other forms of mechanical fixings to minimise the contact between the metals.

How energy efficient are Aneeta Sashless Windows?

Aneeta Sahsless Windows are rated by the Window Energy Rating Scheme (WERS). The windows have gone through 2 star ratings: how well the windows will help keep a house cool (cooling stars) and warm (heating stars).

To keep the building cool, Aneeta offers special tinted glass options to cut out the sun rays. While for improved insulation, double glazing options are available where the airspace can either be filled either with air or argon gas.

The following are the average ratings of Aneeta Sashless Windows based on the glazing option:
- Single Glazed versions that will give a 3½ star rating for cooling and a 2½ star for heating.
- Double Glazed versions that will give a 4 star rating for cooling and a 4½ star for heating.

An alternative to traditional windows, Aneeta Sashless Windows use the double hung system with two moving panes of counterbalanced glass for maximum view and opening.

Despite the appearance, Aneeta Sashless Windows are quite durable with some of the models tested up to 1000Pa of water load and 3000pa wind load. This makes them one of the leading commercial window products.

Invisi-Gard Security Screens are tested through various tough conditions to exceed the Australian Standards. The following video demonstrates a simulated attack with a sledgehammer.

According to the Australian Standard AS5041, security screens and doors must resist five consecutive impacts, 100 Joules each. Invisi-Gard Security Screens can resist over 50 consecutive impacts, each of 100 Joules. The mesh is retained within the frame even after 50 impacts due to the Patented EGP Retention System that runs around four sides of the screen, absorbing all the impact energy.

Enjoy uninterrupted views with Aneeta Sashless windows while maintaining safety at any setting.

Aneeta Sashless windows are designed in accordance with the Building Code of Australia (BCA) for fall prevention. The two-pane Duomode configuration gives flexibility to slide the panes all the way up or down for a wide opening and maximum ventilation. However, the windows also have the lock feature that allows the bottom of the pane to open only at 125mm and the top pane to slide down no lower than 1700mm from the floor. Such feature ensures the security of children and pets in any home or commercial setting, while still maintaining natural ventilation.
