UPCOMING PROJECT: Plein Publiek ⛪️

The Drilling Company will soon start drilling in Kortrijk! Project developer ION is transforming the neglected access road on the edge of the historic city center into a modern, mixed-use urban development. The project includes luxurious apartments, student housing, and retail spaces, offering a vibrant home for young professionals and families.

The development aims to become a new landmark and community hub around the Sint-Rochus Church, with sustainability at its core. Residences will feature geothermal energy, providing heating and cooling without CO2 emissions. 🍃

We’ll soon kick off phase one, with 100 drillings reaching depths of up to 60 meters. In phase two, after the construction pit is excavated, we’ll connect the geothermal system to prepare for our partner Noven to install and manage the sustainable heating infrastructure for the next 30 years. ✅

BULA: Belgium’s largest Geothermal Drilling Project. 🇧🇪

We’re thrilled to contribute to Project BULA, transforming Bruges' historic Veemarkt into a sustainable urban hub. In total, 250 boreholes will be drilled, each reaching 150 meters, for a total of an impressive 37,500 meters. That’s a new Belgian record! 💪

This geothermal network will power over 150 residential and commercial units, pushing the boundaries of energy innovation. Proud to lead the way in sustainable infrastructure! 🚀

– Gezel nv’s expansion in Buggenhout 🏗

This summer, Gezel nv , a subsidiary of ATS Groep specializing in HVAC solutions, kicked off the expansion of its offices and warehouses to accommodate 13 years of continuous growth. As part of this project, Hedwig Goedgezelschap, Director at Gezel nv, shared:

“We’re not just adding new space; we’re also making our existing buildings more sustainable with geothermal heat pumps and eco-friendly lighting.”

That's where The Drilling Company comes in! We’ve completed drilling 16 boreholes, each reaching 135 meters, which will power a sustainable energy system for the entire site.🌿

We prepared the connections neatly so that they can be seamlessly integrated into the project's infrastructure, laying the foundation for a smooth transition to the next phase.
