Happy Halloween!

Three kitchen crimes. One surface put to the test.

Tomato sauce, a sharp knife and a hot teapot. ĒCLOS by Cosentino faces them all, putting its key features to the test: stain resistance, heat resistance and everyday durability.

A refined mineral surface designed to combine aesthetics with performance, even when things get messy in the kitchen.

The evidence is in. The verdict? Innocent!

For the foodhall at GRID X, designed the complete interior, creating a series of distinct zones — each with its own atmosphere and character, while remaining part of one cohesive experience.

At the bar, Silestone Jardin Emerald from the Le Chic Bohème collection brings depth and colour to the space. Finished with UKIYO GV2, its 25 mm surface grooves and 3 mm fluting add a strong sense of rhythm and texture.

Silestone combines a distinctive aesthetic with the durability and easy maintenance needed for spaces that are made to be used. Its resistance makes it particularly suited to hospitality environments, where surfaces need to perform day after day without compromising on design.

For this realization by Dekton Albarium brings a warm, mineral feel to the space. Its subtle off-white tone creates a calm backdrop, while the delicate variation in the surface adds just enough depth and character.

Beyond its aesthetic appeal, Dekton is made for everyday living. The ultra-compact surface is highly resistant to heat, stains and scratches, while its low porosity makes it easy to clean and maintain — particularly valuable in a kitchen that is made to be used.

A material that brings together the warmth of stone with the performance needed for daily life.

Meet Objects by Marie.

A table is never just a table for Marie. It’s where people gather, connect, eat, laugh and live — and that idea sits at the heart of her design practice.
Her tables bring together strong forms, rich materials, expressive colour and unexpected contrasts: luxury and humour, sculpture and functionality, refinement and spontaneity.

For our collaboration, Marie explored the possibilities of ĒCLOS through two distinctive designs: Kate, featuring an ĒCLOS Tajnar tabletop, and Grace, with integrated round ĒCLOS inlays available in 10 colours. Both designs combine distinctive aesthetics with performance, thanks to ĒCLOS’ heat resistance up to 220°C.

Because for Marie, luxury shouldn’t be fragile or untouchable: “Luxury should be generous. It should be lived.” A little sculptural, a little playful, and with just the right touch of something unexpected.

At the heart of Cosentino’s operations in Almería, sustainability is built into the way things are made.

The industrial park operates with a closed water circuit, recycling 99% of the water used in production and treating between 80,000 and 87,000 m³ of water every day. With zero water discharge, water is continuously treated and returned to the production process.
