BruGPS was founded in 2009 and now is one of the most prominent fleet management service providers in Brunei Darussalam for the past 10 years. During that time, we have expanded across countries in Southeast Asia such as Indonesia and Philippines with over 25,000 vehicles on our platform collectively. BruGPS is a recipient of grant schemes from both Brunei Economic Development Board (BEBD) and The Authority for Info-communications Technology Industry (AITI). As well as being one of the pioneering GPS tracking providers in the country, we are also a Brunei Shell Petroleum approved GPS tracking vendor. In early years of BruGPS, we primarily provided for the Oil & Gas Industry, but have made significant progress in expanding and venturing out into other industries such as Transportation & Logistics, Construction & Heavy Equipment, Utilities & Waste Management, and Roadside Assistance. Throughout the life of our business, we have gone through rigorous stages of Research and Development (R&D), in terms of hardware and software improvement, to provide better and different solutions to our clients every day. Some of those services include Fleet Tracking, Asset Tracking, and Application Development. One of the most important goals of the business is the local community. We believe that it is important for us to support any industry in our Brunei community with our services as much as we can, and that is why we focus on building flexible, scalable solutions for everyone. We can guarantee our clients the ability to remotely monitor and control the movement of your assets & workforce via our web-based application, wherever you are. Our main objective is to provide user friendly solutions for mobile asset owners with a simple and clear cut approach to Track & Manage their assets, by using our devices and accessories to provide them with vital detailed information, so they can do meaningful analysis and accurate reporting, which in turn allows them to run and manage their operations more efficiently and effectively. In Vehicle Monitoring System (IVMS) BSP Standards
The BruGPS’ In Vehicle Monitoring System is a web-based solution that helps to ease up the managing of an organizations' or companies' transportation fleet and assets. It is a web application designed for users from both computer proficient and less computer literate to be able to lay one’s hands on without the needs of training. From our GPS based tracking component, we combine the received data to our IVMS to cover not only real time tracking but to also include other aspects of Fleet Management such as the vehicle status and maintenance scheduling, driver/operator profile, driver behaviour management, fuel management, speed monitoring, safety and security of the whole fleet and its operations. The system's function can manage fleets of vehicles ranging from commercial cars to heavy duty trucks, machinery, vessels or valuable assets such as containers. The primary aim of deploying this IVMS is to reduce the cost of manually managing and looking after the fleet. With relevant data already available through our system, Fleet Managers and owners can make informed decisions with regards to their vehicle’s usage.
