Why Is It Important to Replace Filters?
The filter is the component that captures the smallest and most hazardous airborne dust particles. A dust extractor or air cleaner doesn't just collect dust - it also returns the cleaned air to the workplace.
If the filter is worn or clogged, it may no longer capture the finest particles as effectively. As a result, hazardous dust can continue to circulate in the workplace, increasing workers' exposure. Replacing the filter at the right time ensures that your equipment continues to deliver the filtration performance it was designed for.
When Should You Replace a Filter?
All filters have a limited service life. How often you need to replace a filter depends on the type of dust being collected, how heavily the machine is used, and the environment in which it operates.
Common signs that it's time to replace the filter include:
• Reduced suction performance.
• Reduced airflow.
• A filter indicator or warning signal has been activated.
• The filter can no longer be cleaned effectively.
• The recommended service interval has been reached.
PLEASE NOTE! The use of non-genuine filters will void the warranty. Furthermore, using non-genuine filters can pose a serious, potentially life-threatening health risk, as they may create a false sense of security, leading you to believe you are protected while unknowingly being exposed to hazardous airborne contaminants.
Choose clean air. Choose safer filtration.
