My name is Barbara Purdy and I’m an award-winning kitchen, bath and millwork design specialist with over 25 years experience in the industry. 3D photo-realistic design planning software to create designs, so you don’t have to imagine the end result - you can see it for yourself. I help you navigate the process and can suggest qualified contractors or can work with your chosen contractor. Offering:

- furniture sourcing & general space planning
- paint colour consultations both interior & exterior for renovations and new builds

Hello everyone!

My apologies for not posting here sooner. It has been four long months.

I am quickly approaching my 5th official year of business for Purdy & Associates Design
since retiring from Deslaurier Custom Cabinets which is at the end of May!

Some of you know that I have been battling a serious cancer diagnosis, and have been very focused on healing - Metastatic Ovarian, stage 4. I am told that my treatments and response to chemo is going very well 🙏🏼. Obviously, this has been very hard to navigate as a sole business owner. How quickly they forget!

I have been absolutely astounded with the level of support shown by some suppliers and community members, many friends and extended family. It has no doubt affected my ability to heal well during my treatments.❤️👌

I will be resuming work in late fall after my treatment plan is completed.
