25 Years on Vedder 💖
After 25 years serving the Vedder community, we’re sharing news about the next chapter for Fortin’s Home Hardware. We will be consolidating our Home Hardware operations into our larger Airport Road location, and our Vedder Road store will close at the end of 2026.
Founded in Chilliwack in 1946, Fortin’s has remained proudly family‑owned and
operated for nearly 80 years, growing alongside this community. Our Vedder Road location opened in 2001 and has been honoured to serve customers throughout Sardis and Vedder area.
Retail has changed significantly over the past few years, and customer needs continue to evolve. By consolidating into our larger Airport Road location, we can continue growing our inventory, delivery services, and wholesale operations, keeping our business strong and relevant for the future.
We are incredibly grateful to our loyal customers, dedicated staff, and the Vedder community for the support you’ve shown us over the past 25 years. While this marks the close of one chapter, we look forward to welcoming you and continuing to serve you from our Airport Road location for many years to come.
