Part-Time Sales Associate – Building Supply / Lumber Industry
We are looking for a motivated and knowledgeable Part-Time Sales Associate to join our team.
Position Overview:
The ideal candidate will have experience or knowledge in the building and construction industry and be comfortable assisting customers with product selection, orders, and general inquiries. Computer skills are required, as daily tasks include processing sales, creating quotes, and managing inventory systems.
Responsibilities:
Assist customers with product inquiries and purchases
Provide knowledgeable guidance on building materials and related products
Process sales transactions and create quotes using computer systems
Answer phones and respond to customer questions
Maintain organized displays and stocked shelves
Work collaboratively with team members
Requirements:
Knowledge of the building, construction, or lumber industry preferred
Strong computer skills and comfort learning POS/inventory systems
Friendly, professional, and customer-focused attitude
Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
Must be available to work some Saturdays
Schedule:
Part-time hours, including some Saturdays.
