🌟September Employee Spotlight – Jess Belzile🌟

For the month of September, we are very proud to recognize Jess — and let’s just say, he has been waiting VERY patiently for his turn in the Employee Spotlight!😂

Jessie has been part of the Got Wood team since June 1, 2016, celebrating an incredible 10 years with the company! Over the past decade, Jessie has become a true asset to Got Wood, bringing years of experience, product knowledge, and plenty of humour to the workplace. Jessie runs both our Hydraulic Hose Department and Automotive Department, helping customers find the parts, fittings and hoses they need. His knowledge and experience make him an important resource for both our customers and the rest of our team.

Of course, anyone who knows Jessie knows that work is never "just" work when he’s around. He is always ready with a joke, a smart comment, or a comeback — and if you happen to get into a debate with him, just know that Jess WILL have the last word.😂 Behind all the humour is someone who takes pride in what he does and has dedicated an entire decade to Got Wood. His experience, personality, and commitment to our customers and company make him a valued part of our team.

🌟 August Employee Spotlight – Jennifer Zawierucha 🌟

This month we are very proud to recognize Jennifer Zawierucha, our Bookkeeper & Construction Administrator! Since joining Got Wood in March 2024, Jen has become an essential part of our daily operations. She takes incredible pride in her work and makes sure every task is completed thoroughly — never leaving a stone unturned.

Jen manages all of our bookkeeping with care and accuracy, but her role doesn’t stop at the desk. She also supports our construction crew by coordinating and gathering materials so jobsites stay moving and projects stay on track. No matter what gets thrown her way, Jen steps up and handles it. While you may not always see Jen around the store, she is constantly working hard behind the scenes to keep everything running smoothly. Her dedication, organization, and willingness to help wherever needed make a huge impact on both the office and our construction sites.

Thank you for all you do, Jen — we appreciate you! 👏
