Another camping season coming to an end… and we’re not ready to say goodbye just yet.

THE ENGLISH WOODSHED

“Hi….My name is Bob English, and I am The English Woodshed!!

I am a retired native of Haliburton and during my career I was a Paramedic Chief, an OPP Auxiliary Sergeant, and a Firefighter. My desire was, and still is, helping people.

For the past 17+ my hobby has been woodworking. I incorporate scroll saw, fractal burning, and epoxy into my creations. If I see it, I want to recreate it, adding one or more of the above features. My favourite is repurposing items that are destined for the fire or landfill site. Bringing new life to a piece of wood showcasing its unique grain and colour is what’s most satisfying. Whether it was an old table, chair, desk, or slab of wood, it still has beauty and purpose. 😊

This display includes such creations from all types of hardwood and softwood with the majority made from repurposed items. Next to none of what you see here has come directly from a retail outlet.

I also do custom work usually from a series of photos, along with dimensions of the item you are interested in. Below is my contact information, and I have business cards available here for you to take with you. I would be more than happy to discuss your idea with you.

I hope you enjoy my creations, and to see more of my items please visit my page The English Woodshed”
