Bally World Cup Soccer (1994) - aka ‘Doggy Soccer’ features Striker, the official mascot of the 1994 World Cup hosted by the United States the same year. Another banger of a game by the controversial John ‘J-Pop’ Popadiuk. Like him or not, he designed some classics. This was another game that was put on location for a bit and needed some TLC. It’s all cleaned and tweaked up playing slick.

Today marks the 1 year anniversary of brining this little hobby/passion of mine into its next phase.

One year ago I gave this little side hobby a name and moved it from my own basement and into its own space. Armed with a hastily made logo and a website. I found some shop space to call home and Kickback Pinball Repair was born.

Over the past year I’ve had a roster of amazing games pass through the shop that I’ve had the privilege to work on, as well as the pleasure of getting to talk pinball with their passionate owners.

I am overwhelmed and grateful for all the kind words and referrals the community has given me this past year, as I have never formally “launched” or promoted Kickback Pinball since its inception(aside from my homemade bootleg stickers you might have seen around haha), Without the community of passionate pinheads this wouldn’t exist.

Again, thank you to all the people who have entrusted me to work on your games, and the people who’ve sent their friends with a broken game my way to help out.

Here’s to another year of keeping things flipping!
