A seamless finish at the patio door. This custom threshold is made from the same prefinished engineered hardwood as the floor, with an L-shaped nosing profile that carries the wood grain over the edge.

Also available in solid hardwood, laminate and vinyl plank. Need a longer length? We can join sections to create thresholds up to 12 feet long, depending on the material and project requirements.

Vents shouldn’t be the first thing you notice in a beautiful floor. Our flushmount vent covers and in-floor cold air returns are cut directly from your flooring planks, creating a seamless look that blends right in.

Stair School: Open-Sided Stair Returns
Open-sided staircase? Getting the finishing details right starts with ordering the correct nosing lengths and Finished Ends.

Allow at least 2” extra for the front nosing’s mitred corner, plus 16” per mitred return. Depending on your flooring plank length, returns may need to be ordered as separate pieces.

📏 Two ordering examples for a 44” wide plywood subtread with one open side:

48” Vinyl Planks:
Front nosing: 44” + 2” = 46” → Order 48”
Separate mitred return: 16” → Order 18” with LH or RH Finished End

72” Hardwood Planks:
Front nosing + mitred return: 44” + 2” + 16” = 62”
Order one 66” nosing with LH or RH Finished End

💡Remember: All nosing lengths are ordered in 6” increments, rounded up. Mitres and return tails are cut and fitted on-site by the installer.
