About Us:
We are a locally loved gift shop in the heart of Lively, dedicated to offering unique souvenirs, artisan crafts, and memorable gifts to our community and visitors. We pride ourselves on creating a warm, welcoming, and delightful shopping experience.
The Role:
We are looking for a friendly, reliable, and customer-focused Gift Shop Worker to join our team. You will be the face of our shop, helping customers find the perfect items and keeping our shop looking beautiful.
Key Responsibilities:
Welcome customers, answer questions, and offer tailored gift recommendations.
Work with our suppliers in ordering merchandise and designing our selection.
Attend yearly Gift show to find new vendors and prebook seasonal goods.
Stock shelves, price merchandise, and keep the sales floor clean and tidy.
Receive inventory shipments and assist with eye-catching displays.
Support and assist the rest of our Home Hardware team as needed.
Qualifications:
Previous retail, cashier, or customer service experience is a plus.
Previous Gift Industry experience preferred.
A positive, outgoing, and helpful attitude.
Ability to multitask and stand for extended periods.
A passion for local Sudbury artisans and unique finds!
