Calling all lumber enthusiasts! Come join our team! We are looking for a friendly, energetic, fulltime addition to our team for the Lumber Desk. Basic lumber construction and computer skills required. We offer and excellent benefit package and employee discounts.
Tasks will include the following: processing orders, helping customers find the material required for their projects, keeping the area clean and organized.

Wow, that was fast! 🌿🦖 We officially sold out of our ferns in just ONE DAY! Over 90 of them found new homes.

Thank you to everyone who came out for the Jurassic fern rush! As you can see, Kelan is sad to see them all go and Patrick is officially out of hiding spots. 😂

Stop by to see what else we have blooming in the garden centre! 🌸 Also, keep an eye out—our veggies are expected to arrive sometime next week.

Our greenhouse is officially open and packed with the first batch of spring colour.

We’ve got gorgeous African Daisies, Cool Wave Pansies, Hydrangeas, Dianthus, and plenty of hanging baskets ready to go.

After our parking lot temporarily turned into a marina last week, we figured it was the perfect time to stock up on dock supplies! 🌊🛶

We are putting in our big Dockmaster order THIS WEEK. Need some new accessories for your actual lakefront? Add your items to our order so you can beat the freight!

Give us a call or stop by the store to get your items added to the list (don't worry, you don't need a kayak to reach the front door anymore).

P.S. Thank you to everyone who bought our bird seed last week! Our mountain of seed is now a molehill. 🐦🌻 Darlene is very happy prices are back to normal 😊

We are officially OPEN! ☀️

The water has finally receded, and our doors are unlocked. We do ask that everyone continues to exercise caution when driving in, and please note that access to the lumber yard is still restricted while things dry out.

In other news, Darlene apparently thought she was personally responsible for feeding the birds on Manitoulin Island and she ordered WAY too much Black Oil Sunflower Seed. 🐦🌻

To help us dig out from under the mountain of seeds, we're putting it on sale! Grab an 18kg bag for just $29.97 (regularly $39.99) before the local birds start forming a union.

A huge thank you to everyone for your support and patience over the last couple of days!

Looking at the water outside, we are incredibly grateful to the designers of this building. Thanks to their foresight to build the main store and storage bays higher than the surrounding landscape, our interior and products have stayed completely dry.

We also want to send a massive thank you to the team at UCCM Castle Building Supplies for stepping up and taking in our redirected transports while our yard was underwater. We appreciate you!

We are still CLOSED for today, but we will be REOPENING TOMORROW. We will have the roadway in clearly marked, but please use extra caution when driving onto the property. The parking lot is still a wake free zone 😉

As always, if you are in a pinch and need emergency supplies today, we are open by appointment. Just give Patrick Petch a call at 519-878-4584.
