We believe rock climbing benefits should be available to all. Lack of finger strength and injuries are a problem we want to eliminate. Instrumenting hangboards, we want to allow everyone to access safe and efficient finger training.
As an avid climber, Félix wanted to get better, but he couldn’t find a solution with the existing training equipment. He designed his first instrumented hangboard in 2013 for his personal use. With interest from the climbing community, he was invited to share his innovation at the bi-annual climbing research conference. Positive feedback from researchers and coaches who started using it convinced him to make a commercially available system.
