We Are Retiring!

We would like to take this opportunity to sincerely thank our customers and our staff for supporting us throughout the past 36 years!

Founded in 1987 by Marg’s parents, Art & Maria Jansen, the Morrisburg Building Centre has been the focus of our lives and our family’s life for decades. (As babies, our children may have taken a nap or two under a desk here and grew up playing in the plumbing or paint sundry aisles more often than not.) In all seriousness though, it truly has been both a privilege and a pleasure to serve you, provide advice, and fill your building material needs during this time. We treasure the many friendships and pleasant associations we have made and gratefully take those with us as we now slow down the pace and adjust to retired life.

What's next you may wonder? Our last day is July 31st and while we take time to enjoy more time with family and friends, our location will continue to operate under the new ownership of EMARD Bros. LUMBER. The Emard family is excited to expand their service area by joining our business community and look forward to continuing to serve you!

No need to worry about any chemicals from the pressure treated leaching into your garden soil as the box is constructed out of strong, kiln dried 2 x 6 spruce. The legs and ledge (which are not in direct contact with your soil) are made from pressure treated material for longer life and durability. Fully assembled.
