VMAC's Texas & South Central US Sales Representative, Tommy Rorex, recently rolled into the legendary Cadillac Ranch near Amarillo, Texas, with the VMAC demo truck.
Located along historic Route 66, Cadillac Ranch is anything but your average roadside stop. Created in 1974, this Texas landmark features 10 vintage Cadillacs, dating from 1948 to 1963, buried nose-first in the ground with their tailfins pointing toward the sky.
Originally built as a tribute to the evolution of Cadillac's iconic tailfins, the installation has become a constantly changing piece of American automotive history. Visitors are encouraged to leave their mark with spray paint, adding layer after layer of colour to these classic machines.
More than 50 years later, it's still turning heads. And while those Cadillacs aren't going anywhere, Tommy and the VMAC demo truck are putting on the miles, connecting with Texas dealers and showcasing the powerful, compact mobile air compressor systems built for hardworking service trucks.
From American automotive history to the equipment powering today's work trucks, there's always something worth seeing on the road in Texas.
