I figured a post of some sort deemed itself necessary!

Boss Lady here (my name is Brandice), and I can sit here at work this evening, in a dark store, with my office glowing for those who drive by… uh huh, 🤔 that’s yours truly, replenishing next week’s craft b**r, Manitoba-made and C***r selection order!

I won’t lie, that small, exhausting, brimming selection of absolute madness, is both my “Baby” and my own monster in the making!

This season is special, I’ve received SO MANY ACCOLADES on what we’ve got inside this tiny box of a place ~ Our general customers, THANK YOU!

I take pride in the work we do & the selections we offer, and I’m here boasting the Manitoba made, my Brewery brothers from other mothers, C***ry families toiling their crops, and Spirits designed to lift your spirits, whether of regular libations or non~alcoholic! They put in the hard work too!!
I hope you can all raise your glasses and cans in your own fashion!

Good Day/Evening to our valued Locals, Seasonal cabin owners, travellers and beyond! Boss Lady here, typing from inside a dark store well after hours. Just posting wee updates seems to go a long way.
Onanole Home Hardware has always been a unique location, offering grocery in the past and keeping strong with the hardware, liquor and lotto to the current day. Summer 2026 is one we couldn’t have possibly planned for! Although Mother Nature handed us a late start for the season, the open lake for boat life, free national park admission, and an influx of Canadian supporting Canadian has kept the store busy beyond measure.
Upon leaving work this evening, I felt it necessary to share the inside of our small warehouse. We meet our truck driver after hours to unload. We arrive before the store opens to process the most required inventory as promptly as possible. However, as you can see, our freight does NOT arrive in any sorted fashion for fresh pickings. The skids are wrapped and stacked taller than we stand!
Over the past weeks, our province has undergone a heat-wave, weather warnings, flash floods and water emergency, to an astounding bug battle unlike we’ve seen in years past.
Fans and A/C units are in stock. We’ve been able to secure a small supply of mosquito coils, and bug spray that will arrive later this week.
We share this with YOU, our very valued customers ~ we are a small, but mighty team of 8, ultimately doing our dang best during a high season we are very grateful to have!
That said, this post kindly requests your ultimate in patience and understanding, from answering phone calls, to inventory queries, etc.
Open 7 days a week, May through September, Onanole Home Hardware is here to serve the community!
Remember folks, this may be your vacation, however, it certainly is NOT ours!
