I’m happy to say that I have found a new owner for my Giesler .
Before I let her go to her new home I have gone over the boat and found a few things that I wanted to repair . I also have given her a freshen up with new paint on the bottom , the bilge , seats and floors .
I also have sanded and varnished the inside sides and the exterior deck , transom and hull sides .
She will be going to a good home on a lake near Sudbury next week after I have soaked her and launched her for a water test .

Did some refinishing on this table . Epoxy with a clear coat on top. Wet sanded and buffed .

Continuing with the Peterborough project , flipped the boat to concentrate on the bottom . Found some rot behind a crack , fixed that , lots of sanding and finally sealed .

Well back at it and I have this project to get started with .
This is a 16’ Peterborough Handy boy . Peterborough boats was founded in 1892 and built cedar boat until 1961 .
These boats along with many other builders like lake field Giesler were the small utility boats that many learned to drive , fish or waterski with .
This one is in for a strip and refinish to bring her back to her glory.
Here is the beginning .
