On May 31st, our team will once again be participating in the Alzheimer Society Walk in St. Thomas in honour of former owner, Harry Geerlinks. 💙
Harry was more than just a business owner, he was someone who truly cared about people and about giving back to the community that supported him for so many years. Supporting local causes was always important to him, and over the years he proudly participated in and supported many Alzheimer’s walks. Continuing this tradition in his honour means so much to all of us.
Alzheimer’s has touched so many families, friends, coworkers, and customers in our community. This walk is about remembering loved ones, supporting those currently affected, and helping fund programs, services, and research that make a real difference for families facing this disease every day.
This year, our team has set a goal of raising $8,500, and we are incredibly close! With only $3,000 left to reach our goal and just 2 weeks remaining before the walk. The support we have received so far has been amazing, and we are so thankful to everyone who has donated, shared our fundraiser, or encouraged our team along the way.
