When installed correctly, these vents are designed to come out easily — but technique matters. Never pull from the thin slotted face. Instead, apply gentle pressure to both corners of one long side. The magnets are offset, so pressing one side lifts the other, allowing for clean removal without damaging the grill.

To reinstall, simply reverse the process and ensure the insert seats properly within the frame.

If the vent feels stuck, you can carefully use an L-shaped tool or Allen key between the slots, rotate toward the frame, and apply light pressure to release it.
