Everyone needs TOOLS! This Tool Library is a pilot project in St.Albert, launching in the spring of 2018, to unite community, save money and space in our homes, reduce waste in the environment and pass on the skills of fixing. The tools library is more than just a place to borrow renovation, hobbie and garden tools for your home projects for a low yearly fee. It's a place of connection, learning a

nd sharing resources. Albert Public Library will be hosting the St.Albert Tool Library Fix It Cafes that will allow people to bring a broken item for free and learn how to fix it from local volunteer Fixers. Fixers are people who have knowledge, whether broad or specific on how to do minor fixes on household items. Come and meet like minded people and learn a thing or two. Cafes allow for the passing on of tool and skill knowledge to future generations and decrease our throw away mentality. The Tool Library (SATL) is working cooperatively with various other organizations across St.Albert so that we all can benefit from each others resources. Albert's Good Neighbour project is hoping this library will help you connect with your neighbours by giving you the tools to teach and learn side by side. Everyone has something to contribute to their community! The Tool Library allows for hands on experience. The possibilities with this library are endless. Whatever you project looks like, or tool needs are, we are here to help you out. So go ahead and join!
