It's hard to imagine that it has already been 5 years since we lost our store to the fire.

We were so humbled by the community with all the support we received. You fed us, you cheered us on, and you showed up when we needed it most. Really it's because of you that we're still here.

We soft opened our new store on May 4th, so we're excited to enjoy a BBQ today and some seasonal specials all week with you.

Week two in our real-life, walk-through-the-door, touch-the-walls, smells so good store! 😄

We’re still playing a daily game of “where did we put that?” but we’re getting there, and we couldn’t be prouder to show you around.

We recently had the pleasure of welcoming the Windsor Plywood leadership crew for a tour of our new home - Archie (CEO) and Dan (CFO). Always fun to show off the space to the folks who helped make it happen.

After 𝘢𝘭𝘮𝘰𝘴𝘵 5 years, we are so incredibly excited to be back under a real roof.

Many of you know our story, in June 2021, we lost our store to a fire. It was a heartbreaking moment for our team, but the support from this community kept us going. The tent was a great temporary home, but today, we're overjoyed to welcome you into our brand-new building.

Same familiar faces, just with four solid walls around us.

To every customer and all our amazing staff who stuck with us through the rain, the cold, and the heat thank you!

Rainbow Road is closing early on Friday, May 1st, and will be closed Saturday, May 2nd all day.

Beddis Road will be open as usual until 4pm both days.

Our thoughts are with our friends at Windsor Plywood Nanaimo. They had a fire in their store Wednesday night that extensively damaged the store and their stock.

If you're in Nanaimo and need building supplies, please reach out to Windsor first to help keep their spirits up while they get back on their feet.

After hearing everything they are doing to keep going, it brought back many memories of our own experience, which was so gutting but at the same time so heartwarming. We received so much support from our community and we really hope Windsor Nanaimo has a similar community experience.

We are open for partial sales today.
Anything in the yard is available for sale, unfortunately items inside the store are not available at this time.

The v***r barrier shed has officially landed in its new permanent home—now a bit closer to the Door Shop. A huge shoutout to Jim and the all-star yard crew for keeping things rolling smoothly through every shuffle and shift. And if you think that was exciting… the biggest move is still on deck. Paving progress report: we’re officially somewhere between “mud pit memories” and “almost a parking lot.” 😄 Just don't mention anything about lake Windsor. 🤐😉😂

Slowly but surely, one smooth pass at a time—we’re getting there. And let’s be honest… no one is going to miss the daily dust storms (complete with mini tornadoes).

This whole “paved and polished” situation is making us feel strangely grown up.
