It is with deep sorrow that we announce the unexpected passing of Ron Schell. He passed away at Markham-Stouffville Hospital on March 3, 2022 at the age of 64. He will be deeply missed by his wife Monica, his sons Kyle (Jocelyn), Chris, daughter Sarah (Brad) and grandchildren Lyla, Aiden and Tyson. He will be forever loved and missed by his parents Percy and Dorothy Schell, his sister Judy and Janet (Tom). He is predeceased by his brother Larry and sister Marilyn. He will be lovingly remembered by his nieces and nephews, and all other extended family and friends.

Ron was a graduate of Stouffville District Secondary School, University of Toronto Engineering and graduated with his MBA from Western University. Once completing his schooling, he went to work for Gray Engineering. Afterwards returning to become an owner of the family business Schell Lumber. Ron was also an active member in the local community in many aspects. Ron’s humour, generosity and personality will be greatly missed by everyone.

Visitation and Funeral Service will be held at EastRidge Church - 12485 Tenth Line, Stouffville. Visitation will be held on Thursday, March 10, 2022 from 5-9 p.m. A second visitation will take place on Friday, March 11, 2022 from 11 a.m.-12 p.m. The Funeral Service will commence at 12 p.m. on Friday, March 11. A private interment will follow.

If desired, memorial donations may be made to the Markham Stouffville Hospital Foundation.
