14x24 this unique build is coming together, with a white wash interior and dark bold exterior it’s turning out to be one of my most favorite projects yet.

Day 10 on site at this beautiful location. This 14 x24 cabin has a 10 and 8 foot wrap around deck. 6x6 35’ long on custom concrete blocks. The floor is treated plywood solid 4x6 pine and sheeted with 3/4 osb ply. The logs were 10”s in diameter 6/12 pitch making it almost 1200 sw feet of coverage. The roof is solid 4x6 with 1/2 to show off the natural wood, ice guard and coffee brown for the tin this is one cute little cabin built like a war horse with over 1500 6” 300 12” timber lock screws just start. I am looking forward to building the custom windows for up in the loft. Step two complete !!

Best weather ever. I dont think i have ever worked at a more beautiful spot. Well day nine on site, this little cabin is starting to take shape south of beaver lodge ab. We are also fairly sure a fox has been stealing shoes at night…. Quite the adventure.
